Having no formal art training whatsoever, by and large my art originates from a desire to transcend my experiences of childhood abuse. My art allows me to visually display where I've been, where I am now, and where I hope to go.

Transcendence and overcoming are central themes in my art, which has helped me to break free of the chains that bound me.

My art has surfaced as a spontaneous reaction of transcendence and healing that has afforded me great hope as I emerge from the darkness and venture into the light.
